Engagements
It starts with a conversation, then almost always a month. What comes after depends on what we find.
What working together looks like
The conversation: Free. Thirty minutes.
We discuss what’s going on. I’ll ask questions, mostly to help us determine whether this is worth both our time, and whether you’re ready to do something about it. If it is, we start with Focus. If it isn’t, we’ll both agree and say so.
Focus
One month. $3,500
A ninety-minute working session to start, then two or three sixty-minute sessions over the month.
Any engagement involves a lot of exploration. It has to happen somewhere, and when you work with me this is where that lives.
By the end of the month:
We’ll know what’s underneath. Usually it’s one or two things producing most of what’s going on.
You’ll see how they connect.
You’ll have a clear order of priority: what to fix first, what’s next, and what to leave alone for now.
Often, something will have already changed by the end of Focus. Either way, you’ll know exactly what the next 90 to 120 days will entail.

Momentum
Four months. $16,000
We take the foundation laid by Focus and build upon it, meeting every other week to work on what matters most. Step by step we work on the business, discussing difficult topics, making decisions, and building structure wherever necessary.
At the end of four months you’ll have made a measurable difference in the problem you were facing and you’ll have a deeper understanding of your firm. You too will start thinking in terms of systems, and we will have established a methodical way of approaching new problems as they arise.
This only happens if you are willing to put in the time necessary to drive that change between sessions. The decisions and the exploration happen together, the change happens when I’m not around.

Independence
Ongoing. $3,000 per month
This is a continuation of our prior work together. Solving one problem often surfaces another. Independence follows our established rhythm of bi-weekly meetings and email when a decision can’t wait, accompanied by quarterly strategic planning.
